This piece is from a series of artworks where I explored mixing the silhouette of a Batman mask with other elements to create new images. The Batman silhouette is very iconic and instantly recognisable. I like to play with these elements from popular culture and mainstream to create new imagery. In this case I mixed the Batman silhouette with a Joker smile. Merging the Joker and Batman, the bad and the good into one figure. 

This artwork is build from wood, posters sourced in the streets, pieces from a Batman comic book and candy wrappers. The joker lips are drawn with an oil crayon.
